Uma frase merece um sublinhado face a tudo o resto. Em Portugal, durante o período conturbado do pós 25 de Abril, tinham mais poder as ideias económicas simples do que, propriamente, as teorias que, nesse contexto histórico, não tinham qualquer utilidade prática.
No 25 de Abril como hoje as ideias simples são as melhores. Deixo aqui uma ideia simples, no actual contexto histórico, de Pedro Lains escrita no Jornal de Negócio esta semana:
“O crescimento não vem de reformas [estruturais], vem do trabalho, do investimento, da tecnologia e da inovação. Ponham em cima da mesa um caso de crescimento com base em reformas estruturais e, quando virem que não conseguem, chegarão [a esta] mesma conclusão"
